In Rob’s defense he did apologize and try to clarify that he meant “D-List” more as a term related to experience than actual skill level, but it’s still confusing considering Tony’s not exactly a newb.

All I can do is shake my head and roll my eyes incredulously. Sorry Liefeld - nice sentiment, but nobody’s buying it.

While not so much anymore, for years I used to follow Deadpool religiously. That said, there have been some pretty big names attached to the title, along with some pretty cool stories and pretty awesome art. Sure, a lot of them were fairly new when they signed onto the series, but I certainly wouldn’t call them “D-list.”

What gets me most about this is that, to my knowledge, Liefeld’s art has received more criticism than any other comic book artist I know of. The fact he has the gall to call other writers and artists “D-list,” regardless of what his use of the term actually meant, is rather sad.
